One of the many challenges facing business leaders is "How can I really know if...
Our people are doing what it is we want them to do? If not, why not?
Everyone has the same answer to the question... what business are we in?
All employees are working on the same Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategic Plan?
I am getting honest feedback?
Leadership is respected?
People really enjoy working here?
Our current investment in training and development is delivering the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to attain organization goals and objectives?
As an independent third party, Russell Associates analyzes your current organization practices and identifies answers to the above questions. We also identify strengths and weaknesses of your organization as seen by your managers and employees. We do this by first meeting with you (organization leader) to learn:
Your Vision, Mission, Values, Strategic Direction, Goals and Objectives.
Organization's structure.
Your perception of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to attain organization Goals and Objectives.
What you most want to learn from this analysis.
Who you want to complete survey.
Who you want in the focus groups.
With this information as a foundation, we design the appropriate survey questions to be used for an employee survey. Once we have the employee survey results, we conduct in-depth focus group interviews targeted at those practices identified as strengths and those identified as weaknesses. The Russell Associates Organization Practices Analysis leads to a thorough report that includes: An executive summary of your organizations strengths and weaknesses with recommendations for using strengths to remove and/or offset weaknesses.
Recommendations for structural and communications enhancements that require no financial investment to implement and are designed towards performance improvement.
Answers to the questions at the beginning of this article.
Recommendations regarding training that will lead to optimum return on your investment in training.
Recommendations on how to measure the effectiveness of training.
Complete survey and focus group results.
